The Myanmar government categorizes 11 types in Print
media. There are as below;

- Journals & Magazines
Year 1962- 1988, there were only 2
government journals and 4 public journals and 15
magazines from the government sector and 19 in the
public sector.
After the1988 revolution, there are
108 journals from under the government dept name and 30
journals from public. Magazines are 68 under the
government and 132 from public. |
